SEMIPAN 2026: THE GATHERING AND ITS OUTCOME

The Pan-American Missiological Seminar – SEMIPAN 2026, to be held in Charlotte, North Carolina, is not being prepared merely as a large gathering of people. The purpose is not to promote size, but to generate real missionary impact.

Over the years, many religious meetings have become large public events, yet with limited results in practical missionary advancement. Gatherings with major structures, numerous speakers, and extensive programs often fail to produce concrete progress in the sending, sustaining, and expansion of missionary work.

SEMIPAN 2026 is founded on a different approach: to prioritize missionary engagement with practical and measurable outcomes. The focus is on what truly matters — strengthening the missionary support base and responsibly expanding the missionary presence in the field.

We understand that, in many cases, a smaller yet strategic meeting composed of leaders genuinely committed to missions can produce far more meaningful results than large events without operational direction. The objective is to bring together leaders willing to:

• develop real strategies for the preparation, sending, and sustaining of missionaries;

• analyze the global missionary situation with responsibility and precision;

• strengthen the support base of those already serving in the field;

• prepare new workers for effective and sustainable ministry.

The time for the Church to understand its challenges and respond with missionary maturity is advancing rapidly. This process must begin with awareness, diagnosis, and structured action.

For this reason, many leaders and institutions that do not prioritize the global missionary cause may not identify with the SEMIPAN vision. However, the goal of this gathering is not to promote a mega-event, but to generate strategic decisions with lasting results.

Our commitment is to produce a great outcome, even through a selective gathering: strengthening the support structure of missionaries already serving without adequate backing, and preparing many others to be sent and sustained responsibly.

With a solid base of support — as instructed in Scripture in Romans 10:13–15 — missionaries will suffer less, endure longer, and produce far greater fruit in the field.
